Goalkeeper Turner joins Gillingham
Jake Turner has joined League Two Gillingham following his release by Newcastle United.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper joined the Magpies in the summer of 2019 and was nominated for the Premier League's Under-23 Save of the Season award in his first campaign before joining Morecambe on loan for the first half of the following season.
He spent part of last season with Colchester United, where he impressed before returning to Newcastle in January.
The former England youth international will hope to help Gillingham return to League One at the first attempt after they were relegated last term.
