Gillesphey extends Carlisle loan

Macaulay Gillesphey has extended his loan deal at Carlisle United until the end of the season.
The defender has made 22 appearances for the Cumbrians this term, Keith Curle’s side currently sitting third in League Two, just three points shy of leaders Doncaster Rovers.
Gillesphey also spent the bulk of the 2015/16 campaign at Brunton Park – figuring against both Liverpool and Everton as Carlisle enjoyed prolonged runs in two cup competitions.
Should they be involved in the play-off picture this time out, Gillesphey will be eligible to take part.
