FREE beam back for Royals clash

Written by Lee Marshall

Newcastle United fans who missed out on tickets for the Sky Bet Championship trip to Reading can watch a free live beam back of the game at St. James’ Park on Tuesday night.

The club’s entire allocation of almost 4,000 match tickets was quickly snapped up by United supporters and with the game at the Madejski Stadium not being broadcast on television, thousands more fans were set to miss out.

Now, after acquiring a feed of the match, the club will accommodate 4,500 additional fans for a FREE live screening inside several stadium bars.

With NINE Bar and Terrace Bar now completely full after 2,000 tickets were booked on Friday alone, another 2,500 places have been made available in the Platinum Club.

Kick-off on Tuesday 7th March is at 8pm.

Entry to the beam back will be strictly by ticket only and open only to supporters aged 18 or over.

Tickets are available on a first come first served basis from NINE Bar at the Gallowgate End of St. James’ Park, at a maximum of four per person.

Until 3pm on Friday, tickets can also be ordered at tickets.nufc.co.uk or by calling 0844 372 1892 (calls cost 7p per minute plus your network access charge). Tickets ordered online and by phone are subject to a £1 booking fee per ticket.

After 3pm on Friday, all tickets must be obtained in person from NINE Bar.

Doors on the night will open from 5pm and supporters are advised to arrive early to secure their place.
