Tickets for next month's home game against Derby County are now sold out.
Steve McClaren makes his first return to St. James' Park for a 3pm kick-off, and there will be another packed house to see it.
The Rams have been in good form since McClaren took over and have emerged as promotion rivals to the Magpies, who will be looking for three points after Wednesday night's draw with Queens Park Rangers.
Rafa Benitez's men won 2-0 in the Midlands earlier this season so will be hoping to complete a league double against County.
