Date set for Leicester Carabao Cup clash
Newcastle United’s Carabao Cup Second Round tie at home to Leicester City will be played on Wednesday, 28th August, with kick-off at 7.45pm.
Tickets for the clash – the two sides’ first ever meeting in the competition – are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, though will rise to £20 and £10 respectively if bought on the day.
Season ticket holders will be able to purchase their seat as of 3pm on Thursday, 15th August. Please note that only the lower bowl area of St. James’ Park will be open initially.
As of 10am on Saturday, 17th August, season ticket holders will be able to buy alternative seats, plus extras, while tickets will also go on sale to Members (all online only).
Seats will then be released for general sale at 10am on Monday, 19th August through all of the club’s sales channels.
Original Platinum Club Members (Milburn Stand, Areas L2C – L2F) do not need to take any action, as their match ticket will be posted out.
