Date confirmed for Premier League Cup knockout clash

Newcastle United Under-23s’ Premier League Cup Round of 16 game against AFC Bournemouth will take place at Whitley Park on Friday, 16th March, with kick-off at 1pm.
Victory will make sure the Magpies match their run in last season’s competition, when they made it to the last eight before losing to Reading by a single goal.
United made it to this season's knockout stage after topping Group D ahead of Swansea City, Burnley and Colchester United. The Cherries, meanwhile, finished second behind Wolverhampton Wanderers in Group C, pipping Norwich City to qualification on goal difference.
