Date for Northumberland Senior Cup clash confirmed

Newcastle United's Northumberland Senior Cup quarter-final clash against Newcastle Benfield will be played at Sam Smith's Park on Wednesday, 22nd January.
The young Magpies make the short trip to Walkergate to face the Northern League division one outfit in 2020, with kick-off at the Lions' ground to take place at 7.30pm (GMT).
United last won the Senior Cup back in 2017, beating Benfield at the semi-final stages with a 3-0 victory at Whitley Park.
Newcastle's youngsters will bid to lift the trophy for a 38th time in 2020 following a semi-final defeat last term against eventual winners Morpeth Town, losing 2-0 to the current holders at Craik Park.
