Date confirmed for Luton FA Cup tie

It has been confirmed that Newcastle United’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round clash at home to Luton Town will take place on Saturday, 6th January, with kick-off at 3pm.
The League Two pacesetters won 5-0 on the other side of the Tyne on Sunday – against Gateshead – with Olly and Elliot Lee – sons of former United midfielder Rob – both on target at the International Stadium.
The Magpies and Luton have met on four previous occasions in the FA Cup. When they were last paired together – during the 1993/94 campaign – the Hatters progressed following a replay.
