Date confirmed for Gunners game

The date for Newcastle United's Premier League fixture at Arsenal in February has now been confirmed after the latest round of television picks were announced.

After an agreement in June 2018 between The Football Association, the Premier League and EFL, the 2019/20 Premier League season will be the first to feature a mid-season break.

As a result, the Premier League opted to split a round of matches in February over two weekends, with one set of matches on the weekend commencing Saturday, 8th February 2020 and the other on the weekend commencing Saturday, 15th February.

All matches during this round of games - five on each weekend - will be broadcast live in the UK. United's game at the Emirates Stadium will be played on Sunday, February 16th (kick-off 4.30pm GMT) and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
