Cash turnstiles in operation for Burnley cup tie

Tickets remain on sale for Newcastle United's Carabao Cup second round tie at home to Burnley.

The Clarets travel to St. James' Park for a 7.45pm (BST) kick-off on Wednesday, 25th August and tickets are now on full general sale.

Ticket prices were £10 for adults an £5 for concessions in advance of the game but, as advertised throughout the week, have doubled on the day of the match to:

Adults: £20
Concessions: £10

They can be bought on the night at St. James' Park. Cash only turnstiles will be in operation from 6.15pm in the following locations:

Leazes West Corner Level 2 - turnstiles 9 and 10
Leazes East Corner - turnstiles 32 and 33

No more advance bookings will be made on telephone or online. Supporters are advised to arrive early if collecting tickets.

Collection offices at the Gallowgate Stand (above NINE Bar) open from 4pm. For fans collecting earlier, the Milburn Stand Box Office will be open until 4pm.

Season ticket holders were able to purchase their seat only (if available - only the lower bowl will initially be on sale) from 10am on Tuesday, 17th August. Alternative and additional seats then went on sale to season ticket holders on Wednesday, 18th August, along with tickets for Members.

Seats were released for full general sale at 10am on Thursday, 19th August.

Fans who have purchased a Magpie Mover ticket and are yet to receive their pass can travel for free to the game by showing their season ticket card along with their Burnley match ticket. All Magpie Mover tickets should be posted out in time for Saturday's game against Southampton.

Supporters who hold a long-term Platinum Bond covering blocks L2C/D/E/L2F should have had a paper match ticket posted out.

Supporters should only attend the fixture if they are free of any Covid-19 symptoms, and are also encouraged to maintain good hand hygiene and wear face coverings in crowded areas unless exempt.
