Bruno Guimarães nominated for PFA Fans' Player of the Month award
Brazil international Bruno Guimarães is in the running for another award in recognition of his superb performances for Newcastle United in April.
The Magpies midfielder won the club's FUN88 Player of the Month award and was shortlisted for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award after scoring three times and claiming an assist as Eddie Howe's side won four of their six matches.
And he has now been nominated for the PFA x Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award, alongside Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo, James Ward-Prowse of Southampton and Tottenham's Son Heung-min.
Voting for the award is now open at the 90min.com website.
Elliot Anderson has been shortlisted for the League Two award for his displays for Bristol Rovers while on loan from the Magpies. He scored four goals in April - before his dramatic late header secured promotion for Joey Barton's team at the weekend.
Voting for the awards will close at 12.30pm (BST) on Thursday, 12th May, with the winners announced on Monday, 16th May.
