Bruce up for Premier League manager of the month prize

Steve Bruce is on the four-man shortlist for the Premier League's Barclays manager of the month award for April.
The Newcastle United head coach oversaw an unbeaten month comprising of two wins and two draws as the Magpies closed in on securing their top flight status for next season.
His side fought back from losing positions to earn draws with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool and beat Burnley, as well as impressively overcoming Champions League-chasing West Ham at St. James' Park.
And he has been nominated for the award alongside Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer of Manchester United and Sam Allardyce of West Bromwich Albion.
Voting opened here at 12 noon (BST) on Friday and will close at 6pm (BST) on Monday. The winner will be announced next week.
