Betting odds for Wolves

A fourth successive win at home is the goal as Newcastle United take top billing on Friday night for the Premier League clash with Wolves.

Brighton, Aston Villa and Everton have all left St. James' Park empty-handed after an unbeaten streak at home in the league which stretches back to the last game of 2021 and at 5/4, the Magpies are favourites in the betting to get back to winning ways in front of the Toon Army faithful.

Only Manchester City and Chelsea, who boast two of the best three defences in the whole division, have denied Newcastle a goal in league matches at home this season so fans will be disappointed not to see goals again, especially as the both teams to score bet has landed in seven consecutive meetings between Newcastle and Wolves.

That run is odds-on to continue at 10/11, another 1-1 draw is rated a 5/1 shot, but anyone confident enough of a Newcastle win with both teams scoring can now take advantage of a price boost to 9/2 from 4/1.

Home fans will also be hopeful that Chris Wood will be at the heart of the goalmouth action as he seeks to capitalise on a run of goalscoring form against Wolves. It's just under a year since he hit a first-half hat-trick against them at his previous club Burnley and despite drawing a blank in a 0-0 draw against Bruno Lage's side in claret and blue earlier this season, he still boasts a prolific run of five goals in four matches against Friday's opponents.

Following his first goal for Newcastle against Southampton last month, Wood also went on to score five goals in four matches for New Zealand during the recent international break and the 5/1 available in the first goalscorer betting is proving popular with punters in the North East.

Wood also features in a list of price boosts now live on the BoyleSports app, with the big number 20 enhanced to 7/2 from 3/1 to score in a Newcastle victory.

Newcastle to win & Wood to score - was 3/1... now 7/2!
