Betting odds for Burnley

Confidence is flowing among punters that Newcastle United will finish the Premier League season on a high with three points on the road this weekend against Burnley.

Eddie Howe's men put a huge dent in Arsenal's top-four aspirations with a 2-0 win in the final home game of the campaign on Monday night and will be hoping to replicate some strong recent form against the Clarets when the curtain comes down on the season on Sunday.

The Magpies go into the finale buoyed by a three-match winning streak in the Premier League against Burnley, while two of the last three visits to Turf Moor have also resulted in Newcastle victories.

The early betting suggests strong support that travelling supporters will go into the summer break happy, as about four in five are snapping up the 2/1 currently available with BoyleSports for an away win.

The trends also suggest that goals are also on the menu with two of Burnley's last three matches featuring at least three goals, while Newcastle's last three away outings alone have seen the net bulge 14 times.

The last two wins at Turf Moor for Newcastle were both by 2-1 scorelines and that is a 9/1 shot to happen again, but Toon Army fans can also grab a BoyleSports price boost this weekend which sees any away win with over 2.5 goals in the match enhanced from 4/1 to 9/2.

That has landed in Newcastle's last two wins on the road in the Premier League, as well as in their last two victories at Turf Moor, so fans can be forgiven for being bullish about the Magpies getting amongst the goals again and finishing the season on a winning note.

Newcastle to win & over 2.5 goals was 4/1... now 9/2
