An evening with Bob Moncur

Newcastle United’s legendary Fairs Cup-winning captain Bob Moncur will be the special guest at the club’s next monthly ‘question and answer’ evening at St. James’ Park.

The event will be held at the stadium’s NINE Bar on Thursday 31 August and the former Scotland international will regale supporters with memories from his playing and managing days, as well as his experiences behind the scenes as a present-day club ambassador.

Bob will be joined by renowned former BBC commentator Mick Lowes, who anchored the first event of the series with Newcastle United manager Rafa Benítez just last month.

Regarded as the ‘Voice of Newcastle United’, Mick only recently hung up his microphone after 25 years of commentating on Magpies games.

For the best seats in the house, VIP tickets are available to season ticket holders and members for just £20 (£25 for non-members) and include a bar snack.

Standard bar entry is only £5 and all tickets can be purchased in person at NINE Bar or by calling 0191 201 8688.

A number of legendary names from the club’s history are set to appear at monthly question and answer events over the course of the club’s 125th-anniversary season. Full details will be published at www.nufc.co.uk in due course.
