A Fab programme available on Saturday...

There’s an exclusive, in-depth interview with Fabian Schär inside Saturday’s issue of UNITED – Newcastle’s official, acclaimed matchday programme.

The Swiss centre half, who signed a new contract at St. James’ Park earlier this week, outlines how he has come to see the city as his “second home”, and reflects on some of the massive changes he’s witnessed at the club during his time in black and white.

Among the other contents of the 84-page issue – recognised as one of the league’s best last season – is a bumper historical section, increased in size for 2023/24. Club Historian Paul Joannou provides four pages, as does regular UNITED columnist Stan Gate, who brings all sorts of black and white memorabilia back to light. There’s the latest chapter of The European Years – a new regular feature looking back at each and every one of the Magpies’ continental campaigns to date – as well as the newest instalments of The Poster Boys and When Worlds Collide, the latter shining a light on a couple of both clubs’ lesser-remembered players.

There’s plenty to read about United’s Under-21s and women’s teams, including in-depth pieces with Jamie Miley and Daisy Burt, and another new feature, Academy Alumni, in which we catch up with a different Magpies academy graduate every issue. This week, it’s Cal Roberts, who’s now playing for Scunthorpe United.

Sky Sports’ Pete Graves provides his latest column, while the Aussie Mags take centre stage in Mags Around The World.

Furthermore, there’s ten dedicated pages on our visitors to SJP, four more for Junior Magpies, boss Eddie Howe and Matt Ritchie’s thoughts ahead of the game and much, much more.

UNITED will be on sale around the ground, priced at £3.50.
