Tickets on sale for '125' race night

The ‘125 Plate’ evening will feature seven competitive horse races, live entertainment and other attractions, with a host of former Magpies stars in attendance.

The event will take place on the evening of Friday 29th September, less than 48 hours before the Magpies take on Liverpool in a Premier League clash at St. James’ Park.

With the British Masters golf event also taking place at Close House that weekend, the club has teamed up with the European Tour and a number of world class golfers will also be there.

All supporters are invited and everyone in attendance is encouraged to wear black and white, with Newcastle United shirts welcome.

A range of ticket options are available, with a portion of all sales going to the Newcastle United Foundation.

Under-18s are admitted FREE of charge to race meetings when accompanied by a paying adult. This discount only applies when purchasing a standard ticket and proof of age may be requested.

Hospitality and sponsorship

Tables of ten are available in Newcastle Racecourse’s first-class hospitality suite and include a three-course grand buffet and a souvenir race programme for each guest.

Race sponsorship is an ideal way to align your business with the 125 Plate.

You will have access to a table for ten in the exclusive hospitality suite, naming rights for a race, a page in the souvenir race programme and VIP viewing for your race.

You will also have an opportunity to judge the best turned-out horse, as well as personally helping to hand over prizes after your race.

Event information

Gates will open at 3:45pm, with the first race getting under way at 5:45pm and the final race commencing at 8:45pm.

All races will take place on the all-weather track.
