Valentino Lazaro's first day in pictures

Valentino Lazaro touched down in Newcastle in the early hours of Friday - and joined the Magpies on loan from Inter Milan in the afternoon after a hectic day.

The Austria international woke early in order to complete his medical with club doctor Paul Catterson before signing his contract, with the 23-year-old now with United for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

He then gave his first interview to NUFC TV and posed for photos with the black and white shirt. Despite the frenetic activity, Lazaro wasn't signed in time to face Oxford United on Saturday, but could make his Magpies debut against Norwich City in the Premier League seven days later.
