Toon in training: Work continues during international break
Newcastle United’s first team squad have been back on the training ground this week as their hard work continues during the international break.
Many of Rafa Benítez’s players are playing for their respective countries over the course of the next week, but the Magpies who remained on Tyneside have been keeping sharp at United’s Benton base.
And along with a number of Ben Dawson’s under-23 squad – who maintained their 100 per cent record in the Checkatrade Trophy with a 3-2 win at Grimsby Town earlier this week – they were put through their paces on the training pitch, as attentions turn to the trip to Burnley on Monday, 26th November.
