Toon in training: United's players put in the work during international break
After Sunday's superb win over Manchester United, Steve Bruce's side are without a game this weekend due to the international break.
But the hard work has continued at Newcastle United's Benton base this week, with work having already started ahead of the Magpies' next game, at Chelsea on Saturday, 19th October.
Thursday saw the group work in the gym before heading to the training pitches, where those players not away with their respective countries have spent the majority of the week.
The enforced break also gives Matt Ritchie a chance to recover after he underwent a minor ankle operation, while Florian Lejeune could feel the benefit too as he moves closer to a return to action.
