Toon in training: United prepare for final day visit of the Reds

More than 11 months after the 2019/20 Premier League season began, Newcastle United's final match of an extraordinary campaign sees them take on newly-crowned champions Liverpool at St. James' Park on Sunday.

And while Steve Bruce will be without skipper Jamaal Lascelles and fellow defenders Fabian Schär, Ciaran Clark, Florian Lejeune and Paul Dummett - and has doubts over the fitness of Emil Krafth - the Magpies' head coach did welcome Isaac Hayden and Sean Longstaff back to training on Friday.

Andy Carroll, Javier Manquillo and Jonjo Shelvey are all hoping to face their former club while youngster Kell Watts is again likely to be involved. Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from the Magpies' Benton base.
