Toon in training: Under-21s prepare for Stadium of Light test
Newcastle United's under-21s take on Sunderland's first team at the Stadium of Light on Tuesday night, and the young Magpies are looking forward to the big game.
Ben Dawson's charges have won all four of their games in the competition so far and are one of only three Academy sides to reach this stage of the tournament.
The likes of Elias Sørensen, Kelland Watts and Cal Roberts have caught the eye while goalkeeper Nathan Harker's performances earned him a place on the first-team bench for last weekend's Emirates FA Cup tie against Blackburn.
And, as they trained on Monday ahead of Tuesday's game, Serena Taylor went behind the scenes to bring nufc.co.uk this gallery.
