Toon in training: Ready for Rayo return

The Magpies are back at St. James' Park for the first time since the 1-0 victory over Chelsea five weeks ago when they take on Rayo Vallecano on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm GMT).

After a week of warm weather training in Saudi Arabia, the temperature was very different back in Benton as the team prepared for the match against the La Liga outfit.

Tickets for the game, priced at £20 for adults and £10 for concessions, are still on sale from book.nufc.co.uk, although due to Royal Mail strikes, they will now have to be collected from the Box Office at the stadium.

Watching Eddie Howe's players being put through their paces were Newcastle United Women manager Becky Langley and assistant manager Lloyd Miller - as well as club photographer Serena Taylor, who brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
