Toon in training: Photographs to Brighton up your weekend

Newcastle United will be missing a number of key players when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion in their penultimate Premier League fixture of the campaign on Monday evening.

Jamaal Lascelles and Ciaran Clark (ankle), Fabian Schär (shoulder), Florian Lejeune (thigh) and Sean Longstaff and Isaac Hayden (hamstring) are all ruled out, with Paul Dummett also unavailable, and Allan Saint-Maximin is also a big doubt after he pulled up against Tottenham in midweek.

Danny Rose does come back into the reckoning, though, after the on-loan left-back was unable to face his parent club on Wednesday, while Andy Carroll also trained on Saturday.

And young defender Kell Watts is eligible to play after the Premier League board gave United the thumbs up to include the Alnwick-born England under-19 international in their squad due to the raft of injuries. Watts has played for Stevenage and Mansfield Town on loan this season.
