Jeff Hendrick is available again following a one-match suspension.
The Magpies have beaten the Red Devils twice at St. James' Park over the past three seasons, and Matt Ritchie - who scored the winner in February 2018 - and Matty Longstaff - who grabbed the only goal of the game in October 2019 - both trained on Friday.
