Toon in training: Magpies on Red alert for final game of 2020

Steve Bruce is still without Allan Saint-Maximin, while Jamaal Lascelles has yet to resume full training after the pair suffered from Covid-19 earlier this month, but Jonjo Shelvey, who missed the Boxing Day defeat at Manchester City, and leading scorer Callum Wilson, who was an unused substitute at the Etihad Stadium, both trained on Monday. 

Martin Dúbravka continues to train, having recovered from the heel injury which has ruled him out of the entire season until now, while Matty Longstaff will be hoping to keep his place after making his first start of the season last time out.
