Toon in training: London calling

It's back to domestic action for Newcastle United this weekend after their thrilling 4-1 Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

The Magpies secured a result for the ages on Wednesday, sweeping aside the French giants at a raucous St. James' Park thanks to goals from Miguel Almirón, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff and Fabian Schär.

It was an unforgettable occasion for those who had waited 20 years for United to return to the competition but the unforgiving fixture schedule means attentions have quickly turned to Sunday's trip to West Ham United (kick-off 2pm BST) - their final match before the two-week international break.

Eddie Howe's men have won three successive Premier League games going into the contest at the London Stadium, and they were put through their paces with a gym session followed by some work out on the grass as they look to make it four league victories on the bounce.

Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from the Magpies' Benton training centre.
