Toon in training: Full focus on Friday

Joe Willock and Ciaran Clark have trained ahead of Friday night's visit of Leeds United, with both appearing to have overcome the knocks they picked up at Manchester United at the weekend.

Steve Bruce revealed after the match that the pair had been forced off due to injury at Old Trafford, along with goalscorer Javier Manquillo, so the United head coach will have been pleased to see them take part in Wednesday morning's session at the Magpies' Benton HQ.

In another boost to Bruce, Ryan Fraser was also involved after he returned early from international duty with Scotland earlier in the month with an injury, while Allan Saint-Maximin was all smiles before training - and was beaming even more after a couple of stunning goals during the session.

Youngsters Elliot Anderson and Joe White also featured in club photographer Serena Taylor's latest photo gallery for nufc.co.uk.
