For the second year in a row, Newcastle take on Nottingham Forest in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
And while Forest ran out 3-2 winners after extra time at St. James' Park 12 months ago, Rafa Benítez's side will be keen to get a better result this time around at the City Ground.
Jamaal Lascelles and Jonjo Shelvey, who both missed Sunday's narrow defeat to Chelsea, did not train on Tuesday, meaning they're unlikely to feature against Forest.
