Toon in training: City Cup clash in Magpies' sights

After Monday night's disappointment at Chelsea, Newcastle United have a chance to book a return to Wembley when they face Manchester City in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday evening (kick-off 5:30pm GMT).

United were beaten 3-2 at Stamford Bridge earlier this week but their trip to the Etihad Stadium offers them an opportunity to reach the last four of the competition for the first time since 2005 - and secure another Wembley visit in the process.

It will be a tough ask for Eddie Howe's side to overcome current holders City, who are still fighting for honours on three fronts this term, but the Magpies have already beaten Pep Guardiola's side once this term - in the Carabao Cup third round at St. James' Park in September, when Alexander Isak's strike was enough to send the hosts through.

Isak, who also netted in Monday's reverse at Chelsea, was among the first team players preparing for the clash at the Etihad on Wednesday, and Serena Taylor was also there to bring nufc.co.uk this pre-match training gallery.
