Toon in training: All set for Arsenal

Having lost away to Villarreal in the semi-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night, Arsenal travel to St. James' Park on Sunday and will face a Newcastle United side with a spring in their step following their draw at Liverpool last weekend.

Joe Willock, who scored the late leveller at Anfield and has netted in each of his last three games, won't be able to face his parent club but leading marksman Callum Wilson is pushing hard for a first start since early February.

Fabian Schär made his comeback from injury for the under-23s in midweek, but former Arsenal man Isaac Hayden is still sidelined alongside captain Jamaal Lascelles, winger Ryan Fraser and goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

Darlow's absence led to young goalkeeper Max Thompson, 16, joining the group for training on Friday, while South African defender Brad Cross was also involved in the session. Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
