Toon in training: A warm welcome for Willock as United get set for Saints
Joe Willock has trained with his new team mates for the last two days, and could make his Magpies debut against Southampton at the weekend.
The England under-21 international midfielder arrived on loan from Arsenal on Monday, and watched Tuesday night's game against Crystal Palace from the stands. But, having trained on Wednesday and again on Thursday, he will now hope to be involved against the Saints at St. James' Park.
Jamaal Lascelles and Federico Fernández are unlikely to be fit but Allan Saint-Maximin now has four substitute appearances under his belt since he returned to the fray last month and is pushing for a first start since November.
