United kicked off their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 victory over St. Patrick's Athletic on Tuesday night.
Debutant Sean Longstaff opened the scoring with a great strike shortly before half-time, and Christian Atsu got the second from the penalty spot towards the end of the game.
Rafa Benítez declared himself pleased with the workout and the supporters who came along also seemed happy, with some even grabbing selfies and autographs before and after the game.
