One hundred and six days after beating Southampton at St. Mary's in March, Newcastle United finally returned to Premier League action against Sheffield United on Sunday.
St. James' Park was, unfortunately, almost empty with fans unable to attend as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, but United produced a superb second-half display to complete a league double over the Europa League-chasing Blades.
Allan Saint-Maximin scored the opener before Matt Ritchie doubled United's advantage, and Joelinton also got on the scoresheet to round off an excellent day for Steve Bruce and his players.
