Man City clash in pictures

Raheem Sterling's first-half goal was the difference between runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City and battling Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

The England international struck just after the half-hour mark and while City dominated the opening 70 minutes, Newcastle restricted them to only a handful of chances before piling on the pressure late on.

Dwight Gayle almost nicked a point for the Magpies late on and Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from St. James' Park.
