Langley's Lasses get set for Stourbridge

With six games left, Newcastle United Women sit proudly on top of the FA Women's National League Northern Premier Division table and are on track for a second successive promotion.

On Sunday, Becky Langley's team travel to Stourbridge Women, who they beat 5-0 when the two sides met at Kingston Park in November. Georgia Gibson, Charlotte Potts, Bridget Galloway and Katie Barker were all on target in that game, along with Cara Milne-Redhead who joined Norton & Stockton Ancients Women on loan last month.

Tyler Dodds, Kacie Elson and Emma Kelly have trained this week after missing last weekend's 4-1 win at Stoke City Women, so United will have additional competition for places when they travel to the West Midlands looking to take another step towards the title.

And while their focus is on the league right now, United also have their FAWNL Cup final against Hashtag United Women at Kenilworth Road on the horizon later this month. Tickets for that game are on sale here

Harriet Massey brought nufc.co.uk this gallery as United prepared for the game.
