Krafth's first day in pictures

Swedish full back Emil Krafth became Newcastle United’s fourth summer signing when he completed his permanent move from Amiens on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old – who has enjoyed stints in the Swedish, Italian and French top flights, and also helped his country reach the World Cup quarter-finals last year – was a regular for the French side last term, making 35 appearances in total.

He could now make his Magpies bow in their Premier League opener against Arsenal at St. James’ Park on Sunday (2pm kick-off) after completing the formalities of his move and taking a look around United’s Benton training base.

Krafth met some of his new teammates before posing for photographs and sitting down with NUFC TV for his first interview as a Newcastle United player.

And Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery of the full back’s first day at the club.
