Joelinton became Newcastle United’s first signing of the summer on Tuesday after joining the Magpies from Hoffenheim for a club record fee.
The Brazilian forward signed a six-year deal at St. James’ Park, and sat down with NUFC TV on his arrival to discuss his eagerly-anticipated move to Tyneside.
The 22-year-old – who could make his bow in the pre-season friendly at Preston on Saturday – also had a look around the stadium for the first time, before meeting head coach Steve Bruce and posing pitchside for some photographs.
Joelinton, United’s first signing of the summer, will wear the famous number nine shirt for the Magpies – and he is pictured below with the iconic jersey.
