Ireland - day one in pictures

Having landed in Ireland on Sunday evening, Newcastle kicked off their Carton House training camp in earnest on Monday.

The players trained twice at the complex and will do the same on Tuesday.

After warming up in the state-of-the-art gym, the team headed outside. Meanwhile, Jamie Sterry, Isaac Hayden, Matt Ritchie and DeAndre Yedlin spent some time apart from the rest of the group - all four are at different stages of their pre-season campaigns due to injuries and extended international commitments.
