Joe Willock joined Newcastle United on a permanent deal on Friday - with the 21-year-old looking to build on his superb loan spell at St. James' Park last term.
The former Arsenal midfielder only arrived on Tyneside in the early hours of Friday morning but reported to the Magpies' Benton base after completing medical tests, and the deal was confirmed in the afternoon.
He will wear the number 28, just as he did last season when he scored eight goals in 14 appearances including seven in his last seven, and took part in some fitness work in the gym after catching up with head coach Steve Bruce and some of his team-mates.
Willock also found time to give his first interview to NUFC TV and pose for some photographs for Serena Taylor, who brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
