Sven Botman flew into Newcastle earlier this week to sign for the Magpies, with the deal completed on Friday as the Dutchman became United's third arrival of the summer so far.
The 22-year-old was one of the club's key targets and Newcastle fought off competition from other top European clubs to secure his signature on a five-year deal.
Botman, who won Ligue 1 with Lille in 2020/21 and played for the French club in the Champions League last term, underwent his medical at the training ground before heading to St. James' Park for his first interview with NUFC TV and photographs when a deal was agreed in principal with his former club, before it was eventually concluded on Friday evening.
