In pictures: Isak arrives on Tyneside

Newcastle United completed the signing of Sweden forward Alexander Isak on Friday, with the 22-year-old penning a long-term deal at St. James' Park.

Isak flew in from Spain - where he netted 44 goals in his three years at Real Sociedad - before undergoing a medical at the Magpies' Benton training centre, where he met head coach Eddie Howe and some of his new teammates.

The former Borussia Dortmund frontman then headed to St. James' to complete the formalities of his move from Los Txuri-Urdin and sit down with NUFC TV for his first interview as a Newcastle player.

Following Isak every step of the way was club photographer Serena Taylor, who brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from Isak's first day in black and white.
