In pictures: Five thousand fanatical fans cheer Magpies into FA Cup quarter-finals

On Tuesday night, Newcastle United progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time since 2006 - but they couldn't have done it without their travelling supporters.

Steve Bruce's men were backed by 5,000 fans at The Hawthorns and their passionate support helped the Magpies surge into a 3-0 lead. And when the going got tough late on, the Toon Army got behind the team to drag them over the line and into the last eight of the competition.

There were flags, scarves, cardboard cups, inflatables and replica shirts spanning many seasons, and if you - or anybody you know - made the 342-mile round-trip to West Bromwich, there's a good chance you or they will be in Serena Taylor's fan gallery!
