In pictures: Anthony Gordon's first two days on Tyneside

On Sunday afternoon, Anthony Gordon became Newcastle United's first signing of the January transfer window.

The England under-21 international arrived at the Magpies' training ground on Friday night, where he met key figures including sporting director Dan Ashworth and head of recruitment Steve Nixon, as well as undergoing the first part of his medical.

And the following day, he was examined further as well as being introduced to his new team-mates and completing media duties, including his first interview with NUFC TV, before the move was eventually completed the following day.

Gordon is cup-tied for Tuesday night's Carabao Cup semi-final second leg tie against Southampton at St. James' Park, but could make his Newcastle debut against West Ham next weekend.
