Fulham win in pictures

Eddie Howe described Saturday's victory at Fulham as "one of our best wins this season" and it gave Newcastle seven points from a possible nine since returning to action following the latest international break.

The United head coach remains without a number of key players, but was able to call upon Bruno Guimarães for his 100th appearance for the Magpies at Craven Cottage - and the Brazilian marked the occasion with an 81st-minute winner.

That came soon after Fabian Schär had seen a strike controversially ruled out by referee Sam Allison following a VAR check. And while United were far from at their best, particularly in the first half, they were able to celebrate with their travelling fans at the final whistle.

Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk these pictures from Craven Cottage.
