Everton win in pictures

Everton arrived at St. James' Park on Sunday looking to leapfrog Liverpool and return to the top of the Premier League table - but they were beaten by Newcastle United thanks to Callum Wilson's double and a strong team performance.

Before the match, Jamaal Lascelles and Everton skipper Seamus Coleman laid wreaths at the St. James' Park war memorial to commemorate Remembrance Day later this month, while both sides held a minute's silence and wore poppies on their shirts.

After a goalless first half, Wilson broke the deadlock from the penalty spot before making it 2-0 with a close-range finish. Dominic Calvert-Lewin set up a nervy finale with a stoppage time strike, but United saw the game out and Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this great gallery.
