Newcastle United travelled to the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday as the club's pre-season training camp at Carton House got under way.
The players began the day with a tough training session on Tyneside before making the short flight across the Irish Sea to Dublin.
After checking into their hotel, the players and staff convened for dinner and watched England's World Cup semi-final against Croatia.
