Doncaster win in pictures

Goals from Ryan Fraser, Sean Longstaff and Callum Wilson gave Newcastle United a 3-2 friendly win at Doncaster Rovers on Friday night.

The Magpies, beaten 1-0 at York in their first friendly of the summer on Sunday, were backed by an away following of 3,100 and the travelling fans were treated to an entertaining game at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Fraser's long-range strike set the tone before Longstaff made it two after great work from Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamal Lewis. 

Tommy Rowe halved the deficit before the break but Wilson slotted home from a lovely Fraser pass to make it three, and Omar Bogle's late header was only a consolation for the home side, who nonetheless acquitted themselves well.

It was a night to remember, too, for youngsters Jack Young and Matt Bondswell, who both made their senior debuts for the club as second-half substitutes, and club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
