Newcastle United's players and fans enjoyed Burton away as goals from Jacob Murphy and Joelinton gave the Magpies a 2-0 win at the Pirelli Stadium on Friday night.
Murphy fired home after six minutes, while Joelinton got on the scoresheet with a powerful header early in the second half to cap a comfortable evening for Steve Bruce's men as they continued their preparations for the start of the 2021/22 Premier League season.
They were once again supported in numbers, with kick-off delayed to accommodate the travelling Toon Army as they packed the away sections at the Brewers' compact ground. Next up for United is their only home friendly of the summer, against Norwich City next weekend. Tickets are available here.
