Big Brentford victory in pictures

A day after the one-year anniversary of the takeover of Newcastle United by Public Investment Fund (PIF), PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media, the Magpies beat Brentford 5-1 at St. James' Park to move up to fifth in the Premier League.

Jamie Reuben, Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi were all in attendance and Bruno Guimarães was the star of the show with two goals - including the opener and the vital third, which came just after former United man Ivan Toney had pulled one back for the visitors.

Jacob Murphy and Miguel Almirón - with his third goal in two games - were also on target before Ethan Pinnock's own goal from Joelinton's cross rounded off the scoring, and club photographer Serena Taylor, assisted by Michelle Mercer, brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from Gallowgate.
